Operations Manager
Due to our growth at Simpools, we are looking for an operations manager.
You take charge of: order processing, planning, production, installation, quality control and aftercare. A combination of on-site and office work.

Our story
Starting in 2020, a medical student (Sim) built a wooden framework around his, not so visually appealing, surface-mounted pool.
His family and friends were over the moon. Finally a solution for a modern pool, without paying the price of a built-in pool of at least 50,000 euros.
The newspapers loved it: “Hole in swimming pool market” – Nieuwsblad. “Ghent student entrepreneur wins prizes” – VRT NWS. Some TikTok videos even achieved millions of views, causing Simpools to receive requests from Belgium to Singapore.
By 2026, Simpools wants to have the possibility of their solutions in every Belgian garden and even internationally. Therefore, the team was further expanded to Benelux, France and Germany.
What will you do?
🏗️ Site & project management (field)
You will regularly go on-site with clients to supervise swimming pool projects.
Duties:
– Taking the lead in the installation of our wood pool projects
– Collaborating with technical profiles/students
– Installation and erection of wooden pool structures using our construction kit
– Prepare soil (e.g. dig out tiles and place level/correctly). If already experienced with this: possibly placement of stabilized sand/ stabilizer/ screed.
– Solving technical problems on site
– Plant quality control
So you are someone who is practical and likes to roll up your sleeves.
💻 Operational support (office)
When not on the move, you will work with the team from our showroom among the pools.
Duties:
– Processing orders placed
– Preparation of order forms
– Prepare schedules for installations and deliveries
– Keeping in touch with suppliers
– Timely production requests and stock tracking
– Ensuring projects run smoothly from order to installation
